Bill Filmore’s family is his wife, Angelia, and their two sons, the pride of their lives, William and Ray.
After graduating from law school at the University of Alabama, Bill was in private practice law for twenty years, served as a District Judge for two years and served the last seven years as the Chief Assistant District Attorney for Dale and Geneva Counties. During his career, Bill has worked hard to gain a reputation for integrity and fairness.
Bill has served in many professional, educational, civic organizations, including the Lions Club, and youth baseball. Bill is president of Dale County Sav-a-Life and has served as a Deacon in his Church for over 28 years. Bill is the Vice-Chair of the Dale County Republican Party and serves as a member of the GOP State Executive Committee from Dale County.
